Another Update

Pa went through his second dose of chemo today. He's maintaining his weight, though food isn't as interesting as it was before, but Ma is making sure he eats. He looks good and is napping every day. He's a little down because he can't do everything he wants to do, but his grandkids Charlie & Joe are helping him take care of the lawn.

Treatment Update

Pa started radiation treatments today. He'll do these daily. This Wednesday he starts chemo, which he'll do once a week. He also needs insulin shots to help his blood sugar.

After 4 weeks, they'll do a CAT scan to gauge how he is responding to treatments.

Yesterday Louise was making him chicken soup for his cold. Hope you are feeling better, Pa. We're all thinking about you. Janet
