Tumor shrunk

Results of the Pet scan indicate that Pa’s tumor shrunk 50% and is very localized. He has stopped all chemo related treatments and drugs and waiting to hear on his first of 3 trips to Georgetown Med Ctr. We hope to be going there next week.

Pa is eating much better these days and a little more strength but still not his ole self. We have great hopes for the cyberknife treatment. More later, joe

Getting Better

It looks like Pa’s tumor is not showing up on the cat scan so he’s scheduled for a pet scan on the 17th to find the bugger.

In the mean time he’s feeling much better (legs don’t hurt, eating well, driving, going to church, etc.). We will be sending pet scan pics to Georgetown med for review in preparation for the

cyber knife procedure. His oncologist at Roswell thinks cyber knife is a good idea (he did not know of the procedure prior to Louise informing him about it—he checked it out. Moral of this story—be involved and learn about your illnesses—it could save your life).  More next week. joe
